Right in the centre of Chalandri, in the North of Athens, this island looking bar-restaurant opened its doors in the winter of 2023, with a simple task, to defend the right to wasted time… the time that is spent unproductively. Without focusing on the deadlines, timelines, excels and tables of goals. The only goal here is the respect for inaction. Who said that we must always be in action? Who said it’s bad to just be bored? The only way great ideas come is through precious boredom. What do you think our Ancient ancestors did? They ate, drank, and said stupid stuff to just enjoy themselves. We claim this very ancestral right to just “chill”. We eat, drink, relax, set up workshops for anyone who has something to say or show us … we are fine. Who cares…
